A party garden in Thorley.
Our clients had three priorities: very low maintenance, space to party, and an area to practice their golf swings.
The hard landscaping is a mix of natural stone paving, granite sett edging and contrasting gravel. The shapes and contrasting textures stop the hard landscaping looking like a car park and provides ample space for all weather entertaining.
A raised planting bed was created around the existing tree, edged with Box hedging. Trellis panels were installed along the rear boundary behind a narrow planting bed which contains a mix of low maintenance plants and shrubs. High quality artificial grass covers about half of the area which was laid over a thick, stable sub-base to create a flat surface for golf practice.
